The combined Oculoplastics and Orbit fellowship is usually a 12-month program with the time divided equally between the two services. Fellowships usually begin in July. Occasionally, an applicant may spend a different period of study with one of the services alone. Depending upon the candidates' interests, rotations on other services (e.g., ocular oncology, plastics, neurosurgery) can be arranged. Two nonfunded positions are available each year; however, in instances where research funds are available, a salary will be provided.
